Taking only 35 minutes from the Rama IV expressway, this new Schmitt and Curley Design has some grand plans, scaringly similar to the 1990 golf boom.
36 holes (18 open now), monstrosity of a clubhouse and residential community. Either they haven't learned or have something up their sleeves - hopefully the later.
Anyway, the course is still "green" and certainly not one for beginning golfers or any golfer having a bad day.
Many of the holes have water on both sides of the fairway and a nice breeze helps errant shots find trouble.
Why You Should Play Best Ocean Golf Club
Close, nobody out there during weekday, especially during weekday mornings. You might just have the course to yourself.
Caddies are a bit raw and clubhouse facilities are just finished.
Watch out for the Monkeys on the way, about 5 minutes after your turn off Rama II.
